Hi y'all, so I'm pretty new to all the camera settings and whatnot and I've been struggling to fix this issue. The issue is that there's a red light on the bottom right side of my camera next to the set button and dial, and it's constantly flashing whenever I turn it on. My other issue is that my camera will not focus and it has a delayed picture. I swear I never touched any of the settings to make it have a longer exposure, but, I could be wrong. Along with the non-focusing lens, I noticed a red streak when looking through the viewfinder. The strange part was there was no red flashing light on the front. But, a few weeks ago there was an orange flashing light and now it's gone... So if anyone could help me, your assistance would be greatly appreciated! 😅

The red light is the card access light. What kind of card are you using? If it is a micro card with adapter. Throw it away immediately and get a full size name brand card.

I'm using a SanDisk Extreme PRO card.

Is it a Full Size card or a micro SD Card in an adapter. If an adapted card discontinue the use of it and ONLY USE Full Sized cards.

One reason the card access light is constantly lit is that the camera is struggling to cope with the format used on the card. As a first step with any new card it is best to format the card in the camera. Go to the "wrench" menu and you'll find the menu item to format the card. Do that, and even better ensure the low level format is ticked. This initialises the card in the optimum way for the camera to work with it. Once the format completes the red light should go out.
If there is a delay, is it possible you selected the 2 or 10 second self-timer drive modes?
The orange flashing light that sometimes comes on at the front of the camera is the AF illuminator light and self-timer light. In low light it sometimes comes on for a brief period to try and help the camera focus. If you have the self-timer drive mode selected it flashes before the shutter releases.

Is this a used camera or new camera. If used I highly recommend resetting the camera back to factory default by setting the camera to P Mode first. Then go to Factory Default and also Reset all Custom Functions back to factory default.
