My Canon EOS RP cannot take pictures

Hi,

I got the Canon EOS RP with SD card, battery, lens.Everything is in good condition.

But when I use the shutter button to take the picture, the screen have a prompt feedback which shows the shutter button is working, but no pictures can be taken. In addition, I also tried to touch the screen to take photos, as well as it didn't work.

Is there something wrong with the system or setting? Why the machine is working but I cannot take picture or start recording? Please help me to solve this problem. Thank you!

Is this a new camera to you or a problem that suddenly developed with a camera that was working?

If new to you is it new (or used) camera? First step would be to return it to where you purchased it and see if they can resolve the problem.

If it is a previously working camera try resetting it. If that doesn't work give canon support a call at 1-800-OK-CANON.
