In order to troubleshoot this issue, we would need more information surrounding it. For example, tell us what memory card do you use in the camera. Or, if you have used another one. Let us know how long into recording does the recording stop.

The memory cards I have been using when this has happened are the Transcend and SanDisk SDHC 32GB cards. The recording starts normally and within seven to ten seconds a screen overlay of an oblong box with 5 stages appears on the right side of the screen. The stages go from clear to white one per second from the bottom to the top when it reaches the top the clip stops with a onscreen message that says the clip has automatically been stopped. This has happened while the camera is cold or hot and very randomly.
