I don't understand the term "laser marker", are you talking about the red focus assist light ?
It is not unusual for a third party flashgun to suddenly become partly non-compatible with a new model of camera, it is quite possible that Canon have changed something in the 6D mark II that doesn't quite match with your flashgun. It would be best to contact the maker of the flashgun to see if it needs a software update.
