Is the EOS M50 good for cinematic videos in light and dark, inside and out?

Me and a few friends are into filmmaking. We want to make some humour sketches and we are in need of a nice camera, I have taken a look at the m50, I need a camera that gives us better quality than my iPhone 11. We are filming both inside and outside. Light and dark. So a nice overall camera that gives us a more cinematic look. Is the m50 a good fit? What do otherwise recommend?

Greetings,

Since the M series has been discontinued,  I might pass on it and instead look at an R series model.  If you share your budget with us, we can make some good recommendations.
