Is it possible to remove focus box on canon eos t100 for clean hdmi?

Is there a way to get rid of the focus box on the canon eos t100? If there is please tell me, thank you.

Put the lens in manual mode.

I have already tried this. It just changes the focus box into a square instead of a rectangle
