I currently have a Canon EOS 250D + Canon EF-s 18-55mm f/4-5.6 IS STM Lens and I'm thinking of buying EOS R10. Do you think it would be foolish of me to purchase the R10? I am starting a fashion business selling clothes and I need the photos to be high quality. The photos on the 250D I feel are good but wonder if the R10 would be even better. Would I be better off investing in other bits of kit than changing cameras? My intention is by buying the R10 I'll need to do less corrective work on the final photos and overall have better quality photos.
If you would recommend the R10 over the EOS 250D, which lens would you recommend for photography of clothes and close up of fabrics? The R10 comes with a choice of either RF-S 18-150mm or RF-S 18-45mm

I think a better question to ask is how can you achieve better results with your current camera. Based upon the other topics you’ve started, it sounds like you want much better color reproduction. Moving to a new camera will not solve any existing issues you are facing.
i would first look at picking up a color chart and also investigate what lighting setup would give you the best consistency (i.e. repeatability) with the least amount of effort.
If you find that the camera then becomes the weakest part of your setup and a newer one will lead to increased efficiency, extra resolution, etc, then I would start looking.

Thanks Ricky, that is sound advice. You have been so supportive, I really hope you get an award or recognition by Canon!

I really agree with Ricky’s advice regarding lighting. I’m no expert photographer not even close but I have learned that lighting is everything. It’s something I always knew or at least I said I knew but the coconut finally fell on my head about a year ago and I’ve found that most of the image/color issues I was plagued with could be fixed with the right lighting
