Hi, karenb20!

So that the Community can help you better, we will need to know exactly which operating system is running on your computer. That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

If this is a time-sensitive matter, our US-based technical support team is standing by, ready to help 24/7 via Email at http://bit.ly/EmailCanon or by phone at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666) weekdays between 8 AM and midnight ET (5 AM to 9 PM PT).

Thanks and have a great day!

I have a Mac with operating system 10.11.6 and it will not allow me to download pictures from my camera to the Mac.   Any suggestions?    Thank you,

Which camera?  How are you trying to download the pictures?  Describe what exactly you're doing, including what software you're using, so that someone can try to reproduce the problem.

You'd need to tell us specifically which OS version you are using.

In the upper-left corner of your screen, click the Apple icon  then click "About This Mac".  That will report the version.

You will likely need to download a verison compatible with your OS.  You can find them all here:

Thank you for your help. It's OS X 10.6.8

looks like your OS is too old for the Canon software.

I'm having the same problem. When I attempt ot install the sofware, the applications begins to execute, but by the end of the installation process, I get an error message for all of the software that comes with the product. There are the letters "NG" next to each application. I'm running a Windows 10, build 14393.

This is a new build computer, and I did a thorough check of System Requirments before I purchased this camera. I am at a complete loss as to why I can't install this software, and this camera is sort of a little useless without the necessary software 😛

jhansen2016-Go to the link below and download the EOS Solution Disk for Windows 10 OS.

If you are still having problems give Canon a call at 1-800-OK-CANON.
