I’m communicating with a seller on FB marketplace who has an R6 for $1300. No issues with the camera, Low shutter count, two canon batteries, charger, cage, ef-free adapter, 128 sd card. He wants to sell in person and takes cash, Venmo or paypal. $1300 for all of that just seems low. He says he’s moving to another type of camera for cinematography and not using canon anymore. Would I be safer to just buy used from KEH or refurbished on the canon website? I’m anxious about it being too good of a deal. I’ve never bought something of this caliber on facebook marketplace.

You do not know until you take the risk and spend your money.
[EDIT] I think an actual camera vendor like KEH is safer than the FB marketplace.

I would not trust that at all. Always best to purchase from authorized Canon resellers. If you're looking to save some money by going with a used item, buy Canon's refurbished products or seek out places such as KEH or B&H Photo's used department.
