I bought 2 camera R10 and eos R and wanna find where is shutter counter.....how to read it, could you help me please?

I own a R10. p4pictures mentions in his first reply " However some of the EOS cameras also write the shutter count in each image as part of the metadata." The R10 does this process. After I take a picture with my R10 briefly after a shot there will be a number in the top right hand corner and the numbers are in succession. The number on my number shots a three number prefix followed by the number. Example: 100 XXXX. Hope this helps.

I've also used that program successfully with my R10.
Probably best to pay for it through paypal as i did.That extra layer of protection helps allay credit card fraud

It's not so easy on EOS R cameras but I found a Youtube tutorial that worked on my EOS R. It involves running script code on your camera (similar like the Magic Lantern software on older Canon DSLRs) so proceed at your own risk. As I said I can confirm this works on the EOS R - but didn't try it yet with my R10.
