Hi, Is there still no way to check dslr shutter count without sending camera in?  Also I have the report from when this camera was sent in and it doesn't have a shutter count listed.

There’s no way to determine that unless you send it into Canon.

I've had success reading shutter counts of the M3 and R10 by using a small program i found online. I cant remember what it was but the attached image might give enough clues to find it.
I had to pay US$5 for it. It was chinese software so i paid using paypal to give an extra layer of safety.

this is a 5ds.  do you know what program it was.  shouldn't they have given me my shutter count with repair?

Just remembered. It wasnt a program but a website, the address shown in that picture.

So Canon did a repair of your camera? I dont know if they record the shutter count. It's worth asking

Good morning!

Our factory service center will provide the shutter count upon request only. If we included it in every repair, there would be more questions than answers!

If they put it on the diagnostic computer, they likely have the shutter count recorded. You can call the number on the paperwork/email you received from our team with your Repair ID, and they can look it up for you. CPS may also be able to look into it.
