I'm at a point where I'm going to create a memory card to store multiple .CSD files to save settings for different things I shoot.
For example, soccer and football you would think are similar, but football is at night with poor lighting and soccer is during the day. I sometimes shoot basketball and it would be nice to have a setting with tthe WB of the gym already dialed in.
I also shoot birds. And I shoot portraits. And landscapes and architecture. And all of these require different settings. So my plan is to create a .CSD file for each one of these so I can quickly pull up what I need.
What would make this a LOT easier, is if Canon had an web site where you could do all your settings on a computer through a web interface and then save as a .CSD. In bike computers, there's a company called Wahoo that forces you to do all your configurations on thier mobile phone app - and then it syncs to the bike computer - and it's SO much easier. I would love to see something like this.
Would this be useful to 90% of Canon users? Probably not. But for the 10% high end users who are basically your biggest brand ambassadors, yes, abolutely, I think this would be useful.
