While using the camera 5D Mark 3 and 500 mm lense suddenly facing the problem for auto focus,not focus properly if any advise to solve the issue around three yeas old camera and new lense

Was it focusing correctly with 500mm and started with a problem or is the 500mm a new lens that is giving focusing problems?

CANON 5 D MAR 3 AND 500 MM CANON IS 2

Did it ever focus correctly with this lens? Does the camera still work with other lenses? If the lens is new you might want to call Canon and see if you should send it back to be checked.
