my pics seemed to be cloudy after reviewing. i cleaned the lens, still seemed cloudy. i carefully took lens off and very gingerly and carefully swiped the inside with a dry lens cloth. i guess i wasn't careful enough, now it is a black screen. it is still "taking" pictures, so to speak. i read through the forum before posting...i changed out cards, turned camera off, took out battery for a period of time, changed out the lenses, all with no fix. did i just ruin my camera with one swipe?

If you wiped the inside of the camera with a cloth, the mirror or shutter is likely damaged.
