EOS Rebel T7, issues with battery

I purchased my camera in 2023. I had issues right away and took to Best Buy GeekSquad (purchased a warranty). They thought it was a defective card. They tweeked something in the camera and said they had to reformat something. I bought a new picture card and it worked for a while. Went to an airshow, knowing that I fully charged the battery. When I went to take pictures, it would not even turn on. Took it back to best buy, where they took it into the back room and fiddled with it. It started working again and i was able to use it for quite a while. Now it has been a couple of months since I used it last; Charged the batteries(all 4 of them) that I bought around the same time as the camera. None of them worked. Just bought 2 new Canon Batteries from amazon, I charged one, put in camera and absolutely nothing happened. The battery was immediately drained. Help!!

My suggestion would be to register your product on the Canon support site and have Canon take a look at it.

Geek Squad for camera problems? Formatting "something"? The SD Card (that's what it is, not a "picture card") has no bearing on the camera powering-on.  This is ridiculous. My experience with Geek Squads leads me to question their abilities even with computers.

Have your camera checked out by CANON, or at least a real camera-repair person.
