Hello Apple Community !
just yesterday I purchased a Canon EOS Rebel T7 camera bundle. when setting up the unit via the software, I received an error stating that the camera is not recognized when connected via usb.
any assistance would be greatly appreciated
Im trying to connect to my MacBook Pro 16 inch 2022, operating system is Ventura 13.5.1

Make sure WIFI is off in the camera.
Try running Image Capture with the camera plugged in.
Make sure it is a real USB cable and not a charging-only abomination.

ill try that out.. and yea the cable I have is the real deal .. I was using the cable to control parameters via editing software for a bass guitar effect pedal I have
