EOS Rebel T5 got wet

Hi, ya all. I, too, got my camera wet.  I've taken out the battery, removed the lens, kept the battery case open & still a no go.  It has been about a month now.  Any suggestions?  It is a simpler Canon Rebel.

Hi!

To have a better understanding of your issue, please let everyone know the exact Rebel model you have, it'll typically start with a T!

If this is a time-sensitive matter, please check out your other support options here.

Thanks!

What model Digital Rebel do you have. Most of the time repair costs more than the camera. So this might be an opportunity to look into a new camera.

Demetrius called it.  If it's been a month, its "new camera day" time.  Sorry it happened.

Sorry,  I am a rookie.  The camera is a Rebel EOS T5.  I hope that helps.  I come from a generation that keeps items forever.  Thus, the camera is only 5 yrs old.  By current standards, that probably seems old.   Thanks for everyones input.
