EOS RP-Won't turn off.

Hi there 

My EOS RP won't turn off when I turn the dial to off.  The screen flickers and the shutter is making some noise as well.  Any thoughts out there?

Hi,I am having the same issue right now.I was just curious if sevice fixed it and how much was it...questioning if it/s worth to pay for a repair right now for my 3 year old RP or better get a new camera,thanx

I had the same problem a year ago, and after searching a lot on the internet and trying many things, I solved it but I don't remember how 🙈. Now I am again with the same problem. If anyone can help I would appreciate it! I remember that it was something very simple like formatting the card or cleaning the sensor... something like that...

Once I switched off the Stabilizer on my lens, all problems went away: the camera stayed off, and the annoying shutter noise is no longer there. 

My battery and lens (Canon EF 24-105mm) are made by Canon. I also use a microSD adapter.
