EOS R8 Error message when connected to computer

Hello, Please help I teach online and my camera stopped working.   

My EOS R8 is not connecting to my computer anymore. I get a black window that says NO VIDEO. 

I've updated the cameras firmware, I got a new usb cable, and even tried using EOS webcam and still nothing.

Any ideas for troubleshooting?

First check that the camera is configured to act as a webcam by checking the setting in Choose USB connection app.

Then make sure that the USB cable you are using supports data, some are only charge cables. Ideally look for a cable that says it offers 10Gbps data and 100W power to be sure it can do both.
