Wifi Connection to the Canon connect app. Using EOSR 7 AND IPHONE 17, firmware UPDATE TO 1.8
i HAVE WORKED ON THIS FOR 3 DAYS AND GET ALL THE WAT UP TO THE END AND THE IPHONE NEVER SEES THE ok from the R7

I’m not trying to update the firmware, read my post again, I have updated the firmware before I tried to do the connection to the canon conect app so I can use the remote shoot function.

Yes I cleared the connection onther7 camera before I start as the direction says.then pair the camera with the iPhone 17. and then got the wifi connection to acknowledge the connection but it never shows a connection on the camer r7.
thats the problem.

I hope so too but loosing faith.
about 6 months ago I had it working no problem but then recently went to use the remote function and it wouldn’t connect.

Did you tell the camera what type of device you want to connect? It’s on the 1st Wireless menu screen.
