EOS R6 writing JPG instead of RAW

jellyfish

I've been using my R6 for a while and I usually write RAW to both SD cards. Recently, I decided to try writing Raw to Card 1 and JPG to Card 2. R6 strangely malfunctioned and 31 photographs in Card 1 were saved as JPG instead of Raw. All photographs in Card 2 were saved as JPG (as instructed).  Anyone encountered similar ?

“ I just experienced the same issue. Card 1 set to RAW, Card 2 to Medium JPEG. Out of 570 files, 30 was captured as compressed JPEG (2432x1824). And 72dpi. “

Please start a new thread about your issue. It becomes confusing whenever restarts an old thread.

Starting a new thread puts your question at the top of the page.  Thanks, in advance.

"And 72dpi. "

Just for clarity, there is no DPI in a camera. All images are shot at 100% resolution no matter what your settings are. The change happens when the camera saves the image. There is never a DPI.
