When out on a shoot I want to transfer my shots from my R6 to my iPad or SSD using a lightning cable. Can I just hook up the camera to the iPad using the lightning cable to transfer quickly? Just to get an idea what shots I got on Lightroom? When I click the canon app it always wants to hook up via Bluetooth or WiFi but lightning is much faster.

If you connect to iPad via cable you don’t use the Canon Connect app.
In Lightroom Mobile choose your camera.
