EOS R6 - Where to Find Photos

EOS R6 mark II

I have a new Canon EOS R6, I formatted my SD card in the camera. I took over 200 photos and can not find them anywhere. I have tried on both the camera and my MAC. any suggestoins please?

Hi Ricky 

Thank you for the advice, my Mac does not have a card reader, I therefore use an external reader connected to the computer. The SD card is recognised but I am unable to locate any photos on this occasion. I have never had a problem with this before.
