I have recently bought the R6 mkII and since I tried going throughout the settings and trying to learn them i was shooting from the auto+ mode and i tried to switch to manual and it was registering as P as of many other modes. The mode wheel is working perfectly as it should and i can choose c2-c3-tv-p-a+ and every other mode is registering as P. I have tried many solutions i found online like making sure the firmware is the latest which it is, i have removed the battery and sd card and reinserted them, i made a factory reset, i check if is on the locked faction which is not, i checked the auto iso function but it wasn’t changing anything. Any help or tips will be greatly appreciated. Kind regards

I don’t know anything about the last question and is the only thing i haven’t heard before or tried. Also i do not understand the C modes very much and how to use them at the moment but i have to get my head around them to figure what i can do with them

If Vsnon repairs the camera, then they will replace the entire top assembly. Here is a video about custom shooting modes.
