Hello, Im trying to add False Colour to a custom button but the icon is missing from the available options.
I can use False Colour via the menu, with certain features turned off. But I do not see it in the customisable button selections. Everything else seems to be there. Im using the r6 mk ii

Many thanks

Hi SonjaL,

False Color can be mapped as a custom button on the EOS R6 Mark II. It can only be set in movie mode though, so it would be good to double check the column you are using to customize your buttons.

With the camera in either P, Tv, Av, or M mode press the Menu button and go to the third page under the Custom Functions tab (the orange camera icon second from the right, select Customize Buttons, and you will see two columns of buttons you can customize. The first column are the custom buttons in photography mode, and the second column are the custom buttons in movie mode. False color can be assigned to the Movie record button, the M-Fn button, the AF-On button, the AE Lock button, the Focus point select button, the Depth of Field button, the Set button, or the L-Fn button in movie modes.

If you would like to see a list of the custom buttons you can assign and the buttons you can assign those functions to that is on pages 972-983 of the manual. If you need a copy of the current manual it is available HERE. Once you are on the web page click on the Manuals button and the one to reference is named EOS R6 Mark II Advanced User Guide.
