I have the Canon R6 Mark ii and have only had it for less than a year. I recently noticed a blue line when in photo mode only and in lowlight. I’ve shot lowlight photos before and have not seen this. Can anyone help? It doesn’t show in photos or on back display.

Greetings,

Unfortunately I'm not sure if I'm seeing what you describe in your photo.  I see grid lines and what looks like glare or reflection.  Maybe it's my phone?

Can you give us a little more detail or maybe another photo please.

Does this issue only occur in low light?  What type of accessories (if any) do you have connected to your camera?  Are you using Canon lenses.  Are you using an adapter, third-party lenses etc.  is your memory card full size or MicroSD with adapter?  Just trying to rule out some likely causes for the behavior.  Sorry for all the questions, thanks for your help with this.

Do you see it on the LCD?

It sounds like a viewfinder issue. Contact Canon, it is still under warranty.

Hi Rick, I hope this is a better photo, I have the Canon RF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS USM Lens, The issue occurs during certain shutter speeds, f stops and ISO. No other accessories are or have been connected to the camera. The memory cards are not full and I recently noticed it during a shoot and it was never there before. I had the camera since August 2025 and it has never dropped or had any issues. It is only on the viewfinder in photo mode but disappears when switched to video mode. I really appreciate your help on this.

Thank you for that I wanted to come here for help but will most likely reach out to them if no one has saw this before. Thanks again!

Greetings,

Yes, I see bleed line at the bottom of the EVF.  I concur, you will need to reach out to support.
