I use the Canon EOS R50 on the DJi RS Mini3 Gimble and it works very well except for the zoom function. The system is linked via blue tooth and all other functions work perfectly. My main lens is the Canon RF-S 18-45mm f4.5-6.3 IS STM. I was advised to purchase a Canon RF 24-105mm f4-7.1 IS STM. Neither of these lenses will zoom with the Gimble. Is there something in the settings on the R50 that I have wrong. Can anyone help? buying more lenses is expensive,

I'm pretty sure you need a lens with a power zoom feature or one that accepts the PZ-E2B attachment. Even then, the R50 may not work with PZ, maybe the R50 V. Canon has released the RF-S 14-30mm f/4-6.3 IS STM PZ, which has a self contained power zoom.

Until *you* are able to press a button to get the lens to mechanically zoom with a motor, the DJI will be able too. As said you need one of the very few Canon lenses that have a motor to work the zoom.
