EOS R50 Panaramic mode fails on low light

Hello,

Is there a fix to this or am I doing something wrong? 

Sometimes I carry just a rf 50mm 1.8 lens. And it is difficult to capture a group photo. I prefer Pano at these times. But during low light (indoors) I observed this task is failing with just a few shots taken. Any thoughts?

I forgot to mention the camera at times mentioned that I needed to slow down. But when I did it said too slow. I think you confirmed my hunch that it would be tricky or harder to take low light pano shots. Is that from a user guide? The only guide I have is the user guide on canon web page. Thank you.
