With all the talk of record limits due to overheating, not many people are talking about the fact that this camera still has the antiquated 29:59 EU record time limit. I believe Canon needs to remove this.
This is an elitist snob comment. Some of us purchased a DSLR specifically so we didn't have to "Buy a camcorder" and carry another piece of kit around. It's understood that you do things the 'old school' way. Canon COULD remove this limitation and doesn't. Meanwhile you come in here trying to school everyone on why you think your way is better and we're just doing it wrong. Fail.
