One really useful and important feature of the original Canon R5 is that when recording video in 8K RAW to the CFexpress card, you could also record a 4K backup in 10bit to the SD card. Obviously this gives a lot of peace of mind.
On the R5 Mark II, I don't see any way to do this. It looks like you can only record a 1080P 8bit proxy when filming in 8K RAW, but that's not useful as a redundancy. Is there a setting I'm missing?
It's a pretty significant omission if it's currently not possible. If so, can Canon add this ability back in with a firmware update?
