Best memory card choice for the EOS R5 Mark II and RAW burst mode

Can someone please help me to decide the best choice for my new R5 MKII memory card and why?  Is it the CFexpress Type B, or the SD/SDHC/XDSC?

A good SD or CF type B will allow you to shoot H+. The type of card isn't really a limiting factor but the write speed will impact how fast your buffer will fill and need a pause to complete withing to the disk. 

@shadowsports and I just helped another member out that drills down into reliable cards and their speed that I think would be helpful.

No, you don't strictly need a CFexpress Type B card to shoot RAW in H+ mode on the EOS R5 Mark II. A fast SD card can work too, but a CFexpress Type B card will give you much better buffer performance and allow longer RAW bursts before the camera slows down.

You must use CF Express type B cards in your R5 Mark II.  No other CF cards are compatible. 

For SD cards I would stick with UHS-II v60's or v90's < (my preference).  As mentioned in the other thread you posted, buy from a reputable source.

Counterfeit or buying cheap brands can have issues living up to their rated speeds and quality. Stick with brands like SanDisk or Lexar. Preferably bought from a known good retail source.
