I am contemplating the purchase of a manual focus lens for my R5, i was wondering if a manual focus lens would inhibit the use of focus stacking feature on the R5 , Thanks

The focus bracketing feature on the cameras, requires a lens with autofocus so that the camera can drive the focus while taking the series of images.
Only a select number of lenses are compatible with the focus bracketing feature.

It will certainly inhibit the inbuilt automatic focus stacking, but you still might be able to take a bunch of images and use focus stacking software.
