EOS R3 How to learn its capabilities

Just purchased the EOS R3

where is the best location to learn about all the new capabilities of this camera.

I bet if you Googled that, you would have been presented with many suggestions by now. For starters, why not download the full manual?

I do hope you did at least looked through the information and videos linked on the Main Product Page.

And as John noted, do look through the User Manual.

You have this backwards. You probably should have checked out the capabilities of the R3 before you bought it. It may have stuff you will never need or use. Its number one feature is how strongly it is built. Is that something you need?  All R series camera make beautiful images. Some you will need to pixel peep to tell a difference. How they do this is what you decide before you decide on a camera. You could be spending money that doesn't need to be spent which would leave the opportunity to buy another lens for instance. Keep in mind lenses make photo not the camera.

 

The suggestion form John H above is a good place to start learning. There is a guy on the forum that can write you a full dissertation on using the R3 perhaps he will.

Download the manual as a shortcut. Pull it up with the camera in hand. Start with basics. As you conquer them, move on to other capabilities.
