EOS M10 eos utility live shooting not appearing

Hi all,

so I've just found out about eos utility and I'm wanting to use it as a viewfinder when I am recording videos and taking photos. However, on the menu, the remote shooting option doesn't appear.

My camera is plugged into my pc and I have the right version of the software for my computer so i don't know what is the issue. 

Can anyone help!

The early models in the M Series did not feature Remote Shooting through the EOS Utility.

ahh okay, I can use cannon connect on my phone and it works fine so I thought I would be able to use it for the pc software too. 

Do you know any other software I could use then?
