Hi Greetings
I am using cannon EOS Kiss X7i DSLR camera, Firmware ver 1.1.4
from recent onward Date and Time will get reset, if I try to use after two three weeks. Normally I keep camera on dry box removing the battery pack. Is it having an internal battery? do I want to replace it? I have purchase this Five Six years before, If I use changing date each time, any possibility to damage camera. cloud you please give me a answer?
thanks

The camera has an internal battery that gets charged when the main camera battery pack is fitted. If the camera is stored for a long time with the battery removed the internal battery will discharge. Put a charged battery in the camera and leave it for a couple of days and the internal battery will charge up again.

Resetting the date & time does no harm to the camera.
