EOS 90D AF options not appearing on menu

Ramsden
Rising Star

Hi folks

In the official EOS90D manual it shows under Camera 6, to adjust AF Method.

On my camera - I have a different screen. Please see shots below. Can someone please explain this, and how to find the AF options?

Thanks

Ramsden

You have to be in Live View shooting to use eye detection AF, it is done using the image sensor rather than the dedicated focusing sensor which is used only in "standard DSLR" mode.  You should have different menu options when you switch to Live View shooting.

Live view settings only appear when the camera is set to live view. If it’s set to viewfinder shooting the settings are different. Please refer to page 194 in the manual.
