My 700d and my wifes g3x have both had unwanted image quality changes. Both set on L and changed to various levels without us going into the menu screen. Anyone else had this?

I have worked out what happened. Hit Q button instead of button above it when doing backlit compensation then turned wheel and that altered image quality setting.

I’m not understanding what you mean by the cameras are set to L. Do you mean M?

You need to reset both cameras back to defaults settings.
