I know I've seen this topic before but not sure if I have ever seen a definitive answer. My two years old EOS 6D Markll camera will not turn on. I tried everything..New battery. New SD card. With and without the lens attached. Holding the shutter release button. Leaving the camera open overnight with no battery, lens or SD card installed and all compartment doors open. Nothing worked. This is my third Canon camera and I have never had this type of problem before. Should I give up on this camera. It is currently my go to camera? Should I try to find a camera repair shop? Not sure if they even make this model anymore. I guess I would have to look for a refurbished model. Too may lense and accesssories to switch over to a mirrorless camera. Suggestions?

“ Canon? Are you listening? “
I doubt it. At least, not directly. This is a social media platform. It’s neither Canon Support or Service.
If you have been in contact with Canon Support, then they are aware of whatever was discussed.
Be aware that the 6D is probably past the end of its service life cycle. The 6D Mark II is probably going to expire soon, if it hasn’t already.

Thanks. I put my 6D Mark ll out to pasture. Replaced it with a 5D Mark lV because of all the lense I had. Now I found out I could have replaced it with a mirrorless camera and just brought an adapter 😟
