I have had my EOS 6D Mark II for a little under two years now. It is (or was) in great condition. Over the summer, I noticed an issue where it just wouldn't turn on. I purchased new batteries, new memory cards, new everything based on a few articles I read, and eventually it turned on. At that point, I thought it may have been a battery issue. Fast forward to now, and I have to spend about 25-30 minutes just trying to turn the camera on. I have to repeatedly re-insert both the battery and memory card, and just sit there hoping it will finally turn on. Once it does turn on, it's usually fine for a few hours. But after a certain window of time has passed, we're right back to square one. I cannot keep having this risk when I am heading to a photoshoot and it's extremely frustrating to deal with.
Has anyone else had this issue before, and/or have any recommendations that won't require me to pay an arm and a leg for fixing or replacement?

Have you done a factory reset? Does it fail to turn on when the camera is cold or only after it has been used? If a factory reset does not fix the problem and it is not a heat issue you will have to send it to Canon for repair. Canon can fix it if they can reproduce the problem. If they can reproduce the problem they will give you an estimate before starting the repair.
