EOS 6D Mark II — WON’T TURN ON

Hi, all! Super weird issue going on. Whenever I turn off the camera and remove the SD card, my camera won’t turn on again for a while, sometimes days on end. I haven’t figured out what causes it to turn on again, but whenever I change the card, it has this issue. HELP!!!

Sorry, but it must be asked. Do you close the door to the memory card compartment after you remove the card?
