Please help, this camera is 13 years old and I acknowledge that, with that in mind, I tried turning this thing on for the past few years and it just keep showing the empty battery indicator no matter what, I tried resetting it and checking the internal battery but it was no use. Any help is appreciated.

Hello!

Thank you for reaching out!

Please note that the EOS 60D was retired in 2019. As a result, all official Canon support has ceased. Canon USA no longer performs repairs on this unit, nor do we have parts for third parties to perform repairs.

To explore Canon's latest technologies, we recommend contacting our Canon Upgrade Program Specialists at 1-866-443-8002, available Monday through Friday.

We hope you have a great day!

Thank you for your consideration into my request to the community as the quality and experience with canon overall is not good, any other platforms such as reddit has achieved this community too, as the canon eos 60d quality is not great same for the other cameras out there, same goes for my canon printer: the MG5770 Printer. This printer is also a big hazzle as a reference to the eos 60d, for those products which are still looked into and continued, the quality was not great either, please improvise and I look forward to your achievements to encourage other people as well as me a loyal user to canon for a few years who wanted a good company to rely on, but for now I'm using BORTHER for printer and for camera I'm using Fujifilm with so much more software update(well, for me) has better support and quality, the hotline was not available in a lot of timezones either. I am very dissappointed in this company and I will use my other questions on reddit and my loyal company websites' community, I had a great time with this small comunnity and I was nice to you see guys, see you around?

Hi. I had same problem with my 6da and found yr post. Did the reset as u described and it worked!  One thing though you did turn the cam on after removing card and battery and I then held shutter down for maybe 20sec.  Good luck and thanks.
