Bought a used 5D mark iv, and notice after taking pictures sometimes the picture on the LCD screen glitches, it seems to really happen if the picture is has areas of high exposure. I just returned the first camera because of that and the replacement is doing the same. Could it be something I have done with the settings? Thanks

If the screen "glitches" on the over-exposed area by blinking, that's not a problem with the camera but rather, highlight alert is enabled to show you the overexposed areas of the images. Here's page 401 from the manual.

It would be helpful to us to have RAW samples that can be viewed along with their EXIF data to analyze this. The fact that it is happening with two different units suggests it is unlikely to be the gear.
Happy to help, but need to know more, so the more detail the better. Lenses, settings you may have customized etc.

Wow, I just finished viewing a YouTube setup video and discovered exactly what your mentioning! They call it blinkees! So happy to know this is actually helpful when pics are over exposed.
Thanks

Do take the time to read through the manual as the camera has a lot of features that most people may not be aware of and please do give courtesy to those who answer your questions by accepting their response as a solution rather than accepting your own response as the solution.
