"Err 30" indicates that malfunctions related to the power source have been detected. Remove the battery from the camera and use a soft microfiber cleaning cloth to clean the contacts on the battery and inside the battery compartment. If this does not work, try a different battery. If the alternate battery produces the same results, your camera will require service to correct the issue.
