hi there!
i noticed that my canon Canon Eos250D buttons stopped working. the button that you use to take a picture still works but the menu, function, set, and display buttons don’t work when pressed. if anyone has any solutions, i’d be so grateful to hear them!

Do you have a lock switch that might be engaged? Here is mine on the T6S:

No I don't.

Does the "Q" quickset button work? i.e., can you use the touchscreen?

No it's not working. But at some point, everything comes back to normal, then when I take one or two pictures, it goes back to the same problem.

I assume that since you have a 250D rather than a Rebel SL3, that you are not in the USA, but if you are then call 1-800-OK-CANON to talk to tech support. Otherwise, I would suggest you call your local Canon support - this should be in your manual at the back or your local Canon authorized dealer may be able to give you the contact details.

All I can suggest is that you reset the camera at the time the buttons are working.
