EOS 1100D & 150-600 sigma: can't get a crisp photo

Hello, I managed to get the sigma 150-600 but can’t get a crisp photo of a target that’s still. Please see attached.

any ideas etc?

The others have given good advice.If there's one thing i'd stress it's to set the focus point to center spot only,and make sure that spot is right on the bird (preferably it's eye). That will help us rule out any focus issues the lens may have.
Try that,plus the other tips the guys gave for raising the shutter speed and it should be good.I'm looking forward to seeing the results.
