Dropped Canon EOS R50

Hello today i dropped my eos r50 and i tought that it is all okay but the menu button is stuck in clicked position and i cannot do anything. I have warranty but if i send it to them they will make me pay for the fix because i dropped it but if i open it and fix it myself the warranty will drop. Any ideas?

Really sorry to hear about your misfortune. These mistakes can be gut wrenching. 

Its happened now and you need to get the camera repaired.  Start here:

Seriously though.  My hand goes through a strap before it comes out of my bag.  Hope things work out and again, we're all sorry it happened.  ☹️

Unfortunately a drop that causes damage is not covered under warranty. That's what accidental damage insurance is for.  If you don't have accidental damage insurance then you will have to pay for the repair. 

As you described, if you open the camera then the warranty is cancelled because Canon does not offer warranty on repairs made by non-authorised servicing.

Thanks for the answer and the suggestion! I have one of those, the problem tough was that I was using a gimbal at the time and i did not have it equipped.
