I read another thread where the diagnosis was a hair on the sensor... Could this be the same problem???...

Yes, it certainly looks like a hair, if it changes position on each shot then it may be a hair stuck in the shutter blades. It is not a fault with the sensor.
If you remove the lens, switch the camera to "manual clean" then you may be able to blow it out with a rocket blower or even pick it out with a pair of plastic tweezers, do not use canned air and try not to touch the surface of the sensor assembly. If not confident then take it to a camera dealer to get it cleaned.

When you look through the VF you see it? It is not on the photo?
