I misregistered my lens as an STM, but it's really an USM. I tried to register is again, but got a message that the serial number was already registered.
Is there a way to correct the registration?
Does it matter?

Hi! If you haven't already done so, try removing the errant lens from your registry. Look under My Account > My Products, click the lens in question, and then click the red trash can at the upper right to remove it from your account. Then try registering the correct lens again.
Hope this helps!
