I recently brought canon 77D. Am looking for a all purpose zoom lens.(have 40mm 2.8)
Its known that the the choice of lens + cam depends on each person point of usage.Mine is to get that extra crisp high contrast sharp pictures - professional grade.
I had the following lens options
1) Sigma 17 70 2) Sigma 18 35 3)Canon 17-55 f2.8
4) 24-105 f4L
I took demo of all lens. i really thought that 24-105 L is the one that punches out that color and crisp am dreaming off.
But all the research & numerous video i have gone through, i couldn't spot any body talking about this combo an apsc + 24 105 L.
I know i will loose the wide angle with starting 24 mm.
Because for 500$ i can get a used 24 105 L lens which satisfy me in all aspect except for wide angle & low light(f4). As with any other options i have compromises too.
Given my state of requirement please suggest me if i can proceed with the option.
Will an apsc sensor will partner well with 24 105 L lens ?
Other than that are people using this combo ?
Will the combo work fine?
Why APSC sensor + L Lens combo is not that popular.(provided some L lens are cheaper than L lens like EFS 17-55 f2.8) ?
Thanks
