Canon T3i rebel lens zoom problem.

Hello everyone. I was in need of assistance with my camera, which one of my friends dropped by mistake while it was still in its bag. My concern is since that incident, I cannot zoom back in pass 24 mm mm. It always gets stuck between 55 mm and 24 mm ( literally gets stuck in the middle of 24 mm and 35 mm) which made me wonder if I would need to get a new lens or if it's fixable.

Greetings ,

The cost to repair is likely to exceed the cost of a used or new lens.  The first thing you should do is test the camera with another lens to ensure it's not damaged.  Once that is confirmed, I'd look at KEH, Canon refurbished, or the used Depts at B and H or Adorama.

Or consider upgrading to mirrorless.  Canon is having a huge sale right now.
